Sonora Post Digital is the regional electronic music album by Ataw Allpa (EQ) and DJ Nirso (BR).
Recorded between Quito and São Paulo, it evoques sound landscapes from the Brazilian North, Northwest and the Amazon, adorned by influences from Equador and Colombia found in the Vallenato accordion and the electric guitar.
Rhythms like Cumbia, Forro and Carimbo are conjugated with synthetic timbres and beats like the ones found in House, Trance and Tecnobrega music, generating an acoustic/electronic hybrid that can be danced like today, but with the feeling of yesterday.
The album includes remixes from Lascivio Bohemia (EQ) Señor Chancho (CH) and Tribilin Sound (PE). Likewise, it has features by Illescas (EQ), Uaná System (BR) , Pablo Diaz (CO) and Catarina Dee Jah (BR). The cover art was made by Ivis David (FLY Art Studio).

I'd heard cumbia before, but I didn't know what it was called. Having it gently mixed with a heaping helping of psychedelic electronica is exactly how I like it. Jean-Paul DuQuette

Mostly experimental remixes for Nicola's debut album. To be honest I'm mostly fascinated by his compilation tracks and the new remixes, but these tracks will suit the more adventurous moods. Seb Forest Soul
The songs on “Sombras y Sueños” feel like wavy hallucinations, tropical rhythms bobbing gently beneath rippling keys. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2021
